The Greece we truly know
We could, of course, put the whole of Greece on our website. But why would we? We’d much rather take you to the places we know well ourselves. Places we love to return to, and where, even after all these years, we still discover something new.
From Zakynthos and Kefalonia to Athens, Methoni, Messinia and Ikaria. Some of these places we’ve known for almost thirty years; others came into our lives much later. And stayed.
🧿 Greece beyond summer
Greece only in summer?
Not at all.
Secretly, we might even like it more outside the summer months.
In spring, the bougainvillea is in bloom everywhere again. In autumn, the olive harvest begins, and the owner of that trendy beach bar where you ordered a cocktail in August is suddenly back among his olive trees. Because yes, he’s an olive farmer too.
And then there’s winter. Around Nafplio, the orange trees hang heavy with fruit, and in December Athens goes all out for Christmas. Lights, enormous Christmas trees, music. And meanwhile it can easily be 15°C, with the terraces full. In December, yes. This is Greece, after all.
🧿 Just one freddo espresso…
There’s always time for a freddo espresso on the square.
In Italy, we drink our espresso standing at the bar, and five minutes later we’re gone. In Greece, we order one freddo espresso, and an hour later we’re still sitting there.
Nobody bats an eye.
And by now, we do exactly the same.
🧿 This is our Greece
Perhaps that’s the Greece we love most. Not just July and August, but October, December, March and May too. When the holiday crowds have gone, and Greek life simply carries on.
And us? We love being right in the middle of it.
That’s the Greece we truly know.
And that’s the Greece we’d love to show you.

You must visit Ithaka sometime. Known as the home of the legendary hero Odysseus from Greek mythology. With idyllic landscapes and rich cultural heritage, Ithaka is a destination that sparks the imagination and enriches the soul. In our opinion, the most beautiful Greek island.
