We spent a week in Tsilivi which in my opinion is one of the most convenient points to reach any beach on the island. Near the apartment there are numerous well-stocked supermarkets and restaurants. The strong points are certainly comfort, we appreciated the presence of Wi-Fi and Smart TV. We found the hob slightly uncomfortable however we still managed to prepare lunches for the whole week. Karlien also got us a rental car at an affordable price and with insurance included. We highly recommend staying here.

Holiday in Kefalonia. What a revelation our stay in Skala on the island of Kefalonia in Greece was. Through the Authentic Greece organization we were guests in Authentic Greece Regina Blue, a very well-kept structure/villa divided into several studio apartments with balcony or terrace, practically on the rocks and with a spectacular view of the sea. Around the house there is ample space for eating out or having a barbeque. Despite being close to the center of Skala, the place was very quiet where the only music is that of the waves! The center of Scala, a delightful town where nothing is missing and offers a variety of taverns and restaurants, as well as supermarkets and a pharmacy, is 2 km from the property. The beautiful beach of Skala is very long and offers both free beaches and well-equipped beaches with sunbeds and umbrellas at affordable prices. The organization of our stay was perfect, already upon arrival the car rental company was waiting for us and in a few minutes with a smile he handed over the car to us, included in the package. The assistance in case of need is also excellent. We thank Mrs. Karlien for advising and assisting us in an excellent manner. We will definitely return to Kefalonia!

We had an apartment, no 11, from Arvanitakis apartments, just north of Tsilivi.

We found the apartment very basic. However, that did not prevent us from having a nice holiday.

Beautiful sea view, a nice balcony where we spent many hours.

Everything was well taken care of, including the coffee maker purchased especially at our request! Really great.

Good bed, slept well. The car was included, and also arranged well and flexibly.

The place, Planos (Tsilibi), is quiet and ideal for still relaxing vacations.

Hello Karlien. Everything went very well: someone from the car rental company was waiting for us at the airport and took us to their office, where we were assigned an easy and good C3 Citroën. Once in Skalá we ended up at the Mikelatos restaurant and Georgina took us to our apartment where everything we needed was available. Georgina herself was very helpful and certainly willing to have a chat. If we needed anything, we could always let them know. On Saturday we had our 'cooking experience' with Vasiliki and Georgio, very pleasant people, Vasiliki speaks perfect French and fluent English. The food we prepared was very tasty and we have already been able to use the explanation we received at home. During the week we were able to visit several places on the island and especially enjoyed the pleasant climate and food. The fortress in Kástro, the capital Argostóli, the coastal town of Póros with its oldest monastery, the Monastery of Ag. Gerássimos with the wine cooperative, a cruise with Captain Vangelis to Fiskárdo and the Melissáni Cave. What is especially pleasant in Cephalonia is that everyone can speak English, a great help in a country with a language that is incomprehensible to me. The only disadvantage for us is the trip to Kefallonia: we can only leave Düsseldorf by plane and that is still a long drive for us. But of course you can't do anything about that. Maybe there are more options in high season? We are very satisfied with the organization of Authentic Greece, thank you.

Itaka is small, we'll visit you soon. Kephalonia is still a great place to eat and enjoy the island. Long walks among scents, colors and sounds all seasoned with a very pleasant dry heat of 30°. Beaches for all tastes. We saw the baby turtles being born and intrepidly heading towards the great sea. An emotion!. Accommodation: beautiful location, seafront, comfortable house with a large garden and possibility of staring outdoors either in the garden or on the terrace. Good service although not regular, clean. Chaiselongues (deckchairs) would be welcome for relaxing in the garden or on the large terraces. Karlien is gentle, willing and able to provide information for you.

Holiday in Kefalonia and Ithaca, a beautiful discovery!

I was in Kefalonia with friends in September, and we stayed in Skala. The island is truly beautiful with many different beaches but also very mountainous and green. It is advisable to have a car for travel. We alternated beautiful walks and excursions with relaxing on the beach. In September the island is certainly less crowded, the sea is beautiful and the temperature is excellent. Skala is an excellent base for a stay: it offers all services and a variety of long pebble or sandy beaches. Don't miss the excursion to the mythical Ithaca of Ulysses!

Authentic Greece has planned a beautiful tour for us. We started in Athens (beautiful hotel with a view of the Acropolis). Beautiful city, lots to see and you can wander around the small streets of Plaka for hours. Peloponnese is truly a fantastic part of Greece. Many authentic small villages, small taverns, beautiful bays, good food ......And what friendly people. The last few days we have been in a beautiful app. on Zakynthos. Long sandy beaches, boat trip, turtles and relaxation. We enjoyed this trip, everything was well organized, hotels (one even nicer than the other), car rental and of course a route description with tips for the sights during the tour.

The island is beautiful, very beautiful sea and beautiful beaches and suitable for everyone. The residence where I was hosted is a fabulous place near the sea but at the same time silent, the service was excellent as was the owner, a helpful person who was sensitive to people's needs, very careful that everything was perfect and perfectly clean. The organization of the trip by Authentic Greece was impeccable and smooth, the difference is made by those who know the island well and know how to advise you from beaches to places to restaurants. This blue sea certainly struck me, I must return.

The apartment is as described. We found it to be very clean and very nice. My family of four found the apartment very comfortable. We really enjoyed the patio area! The beach is very close to the apartment as are a few restaurants. We arrived in late October so most places were closed for the season. If you want to go to town or major points of interest you must rent a car which is very easy and affordable. Ms Tania greeted us with fresh pears and wine. She was a gracious host and offered us a lot of great advice for our vacation. Highly recommend this place.

Karlien was very kind from the first moment and followed our accommodation from the very first moments. The accommodation is very basic, equipped with a terrace with sea view, it is not far from the beach, the beds are single but joined into a double bed and therefore slightly uncomfortable. The very simple bathroom without bidet and with curtain shower. However, it must be admitted that there is no lack of cleanliness: every day a girl took care of putting everything in order and cleaning the room and the bathroom. Punctual change of sheets and towels mid-week. The owner, kind and reserved, speaks understandable English and was careful to resolve a small problem relating to the lighting system which was resolved very quickly. Privacy is not lacking and the location of the apartment, although not very central in Tsilivi, is therefore very quiet but still close to every service: bar, supermarket, tavern. The car rental service offered to us was of good quality in terms of price and rental conditions. In conclusion, a good solution for those who don't want to spend too much and still have decent accommodation.

We were very happy about our holidays. Karlien was very nice and helpful. She answered all our questions in a very short time and gave us a lot of important informations. The apartment was very comfortable and clean with a beautiful balcony with view into the garden. The kitchen was quite small and the use of the cooking plate was a bit tricky because the switcher was broken. Most things for cooking were available. We took from home a cutting board, some sharp knives, a peeler and a dishcloth with us and that was helpful. The shower was great: very warm and a lot of water. The apartment was cleaned every day and nearly every second day we got new towels and bed linen. The great sandy beach with the warm clear water was only about 100m away. We rented a car from Margaris as Karlien recommended us and that was the best decision: Andreas was very helpful and nice. If you want to see something of the island a car is a MUST and there are a lot of gorgeous places! We are already planning a return to Zante and we intend to book this lovely apartment once again :-). Finally I was quite surprised that I found vegan and glutenfree products on Zante which I need for eating.

I arrived early in the morning and Karlien was kind enough to let me check in early. The room is everything you expect from a Greek apartment. Functional and clean. The balcony was private with high sides so you didn't see your neighbours and also had a seaview. Location was perfect for me. Dag Karlien, we hebben toch zeker 100 km in de sneeuw moeten rijden aan 50km/uur. Vrachtwagens werden tegengehouden om niet door te rijden, wij aanvankelijk ook, maar ik zei tourist, English, ... en we mochten voorzichtig doorrijden en moest maar onze 4 richtingaanwijzers aanzetten als we de berg niet op raakten. Was toch een spannende rit, maar toch ruimschoots op tijd gearriveerd. Messini was in ieder geval indrukwekkend groot en mooi! Toch ook nog tot Olympia gereden. The cliff top near the apartment provided the most beautiful sunset watching every night and it was really lovely to be near to but not in the resort of Tsilivi. We would definitely recommend and stay again - Zakynthos is stunning and so easy to explore the whole island from the location with a scooter or car and so near some gorgeous beaches north.

We had a wonderful week in Greece: the island is breath-taking beautiful and the islanders surprisingly welcoming and friendly, Karlien being an absolute example. The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos, very comfortable and clean, and on top of that, with a magnificent balcony-view (no other buildings to obstruct the view, there is only a tiny road in front of it, and then the edge of a quite high cliff). The closest beach is at few steps away. I would definitely recommend it as a perfect escape for a zen holiday.

Karlien war sehr flexibel, was die Anreise- und Abreisezeit betraf und kam mir sehr entgegen. Eine Flasche Wasser stand im Zimmer bereit. Sie hatte zahlreiche Informationen für Unternehmungen und Restaurants in der Umgebung. Karlien war immer erreichbar.

Karlien was always there to help, organize, fix, take care of everything (or sometimes just for a friendly chat); the apartments have everything you need, the view is stunning, the island overall is very beautiful and Karlien did everything she could to help us explore it the best way possible. She also organized a car for us (mr. Andreas, who provided the car, is also genuinely professional, sweet, friendly and just overall a cool guy). We can only thank her and promise we'll come back again :) Renting a car/atv is a must if you want to explore! Beautiful caves, gorgeous views, old villages, cozy beaches with little to no people and other great stuff the island has to offer can (in most cases) be reached only that way.

Karlien é stata molto accogliente e disponibile, fornendoci informazioni interessanti per visitare i punti di interesse più significativi e alcuni ottimi locali. È stata anche molto utile per noleggiare la macchina e prenotare le escursioni in barca, avendo delle conoscenze in loco. L' appartamento é essenziale ma funzionale con una bella vista sul mare e un discreto segnale WiFi. Nel complesso il nostro soggiorno é stato soddisfacente, unico neo sono stati alcuni dei vicini, molto rumorosi e maleducati nelle ore notturne. Fortunamente Karlien ha provveduto inizialmente a farglielo notare, e alla fine é stata costretta a mandarli via per la loro insistenza.

We spent 9 days at this place and it proved to be very nice. It was situated ideally, it wasn't in the resort itself where at times it was fairly busy (which is nice if you're out doing touristic shopping, eating or looking for cruise trips) but roughly a km or 2 from it, therefore it's still very accessible but you don't have it in front of your house door. The beach situated nearby was lovely too, most times you could even get a beautiful umbrella for free with it too. The harbour at the beach is small and you see many small fishingboats with fishingmen at work. You have a wonderful sea view from the well sized balcony as well which is nice too.

We hebben enorm genoten van Zakynthos. De ligging van het appartement is zeer goed. We hebben genoten van het rustige strandje dichtbij, en met auto/scooter kun je het eiland fijn ontdekken. Het appartement zelf is qua prijs/kwaliteit prima, en Karlien was hulpvaardig.

Here are some words about our stay at La Sapienza: We enjoyed it from the beginning. Yorgos was there when we arrived, and he is a very friendly and nice man. Our room was very nice and clean, with a wonderful view. The breakfast was delicious, fresh orange juice, yoghurt, choice of 3 different kinds of egg, fresh fruit, marmalade, bread and honey, all served at your table, a good start for the day.Just a short walk to a good beach, and about 20min on foot along the beach to the town with a good variety of restaurants. The whole atmosphere at La Sapienza was friendly and relaxing, it is a place that we can only recommend and I don’t think it is the last time we are there. So we had a very nice holiday, without stress and too much tourists

The apartments are at a walking distance from Gaidaros Beach (5m), they are clean and have the most fantastic view to the ocean, so eating breakfast and dinning in the balcony was a A+++ experience.

Went to Zante somewhat spontaneously and chose Theo Beach apartments as the price fitted nicely with our budget and it had nice reviews. The house with the apartments is situated in a chilled out neighborhood with a great view of Kefalonia across the sea from the balcony. A calm beach is some minutes walking distance away which was nice for a night swim. The apartment was clean and functional and the sea breeze chilled it nicely during the night, no need to waste electricy on a noisy AC! We got a great reception by Karlien, who helped us book a rental car (which as many others suggest is good to have on Zante as it is a big Island and you will probably want to explore it and find your own favorite beaches to get the most out of your trip), and book some boat trips. Overall both Karlien and the guys at the car rental was super friendly and helpful! We really felt welcome!

Warm welcome, glorious location, excellent breakfast. A very friendly welcome from Yorgos. The room was comfortable and clean with a stunning sea view of the Venetian fort at Methoni. Had a really relaxing time by the pool. A short walk into Methoni. The nearby beaches are safe for families with young children. The area is beautiful with interesting villages to see nearby. We will remember the fantastic view from our balcony, Yorgos' sense of humour and what a relaxing time we had.

Abbiamo soggiornato presso Theo Beach dal 30 giugno al 7 di luglio e abbiamo trascorso davvero una piacevole settimana. Tutto ciò che è descritto nell'annuncio è ampiamente rispettato. Il monolocale è arredato in modo essenziale, fresco e pulito, con un terrazzino vista mare davvero strepitoso! Karlien è stata davvero una Host fantastica, gentile, cordiale e disponibile, ci ha aiutati a noleggiare una macchina e ci ha proposto delle gite in barca davvero interessanti, ben organizzate e a prezzi modici!!! La zona è molto tranquilla e la spiaggia più vicina dista solo 150 mt. e quindi facilmente raggiungibile anche a piedi. Consiglio davvero di prendere una macchina a noleggio o un motorino per girare al meglio l'isola che è davvero meravigliosa e merita una visita approfondita (7 gg sono un po' pochini e passano davvero in fretta!). Torneremo sicuramente su questa meravigliosa isola e soggiorneremo nuovamente da Karlien!!! NB. Abbiamo amato la vista che si godeva dal terrazzo dell'appartamento, la cordialità e la disponibilità dell'host e la zona tranquilla.

We had an awsome holiday at Authentic Greece. Before our trip Karlien was always in contact with us in case we needed anything (e.g car, transfer, etc). Our arrival went very smooth, the welcome of Karlien was lovely. We got suggestions of where to eat, where to shop nearby. The room was basic but it had everything we needed. It is at a quiet area but very close to a busy town where many tavernas, shops and bars are. We really liked it in this way because we loved to sit outside in our balcony and watch the sunset with a glass of wine or a chilled ouzo ;) but afterwards it was good to have a night out at the bars. Airco was not necessary at all because we could open the balcony door and the front door so we could enjoy the natural seabreeze which was actually wonderful. Karlien gave us privacy but in case we needed anything she was always reachable and very friendly. Thank you for the great vacation, we will definitely come back.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit auf Zakynthos und das Apartment (Theo Beach) ist um diesen Preis einfach nur zu empfehlen. Das Apartment ist einfach eingerichtet,bietet aber alles was man braucht als Selbstversorger. Die Lage ist auch sehr schön und ruhig, 5 min zu Fuß zu einem sehr schönen Sandstrand mit Strandbar. Wir haben auch über Karlien ein Mietauto gebucht, hat auch alles wunderbar geklappt. Sind vom Flughafen abgeholt worden und der Autovermieter hat uns zu unserem Apartment gebracht. Wenn man die Insel wirklich erkunden will, ist ein Auto auch sehr zu empfehlen. Wir würden sofort wieder dieses Apartment buchen und können Karlien und ihr Engagemant nur weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für alles und wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

We had a lovely stay at the apartments Theo Beach. They were lovely and clean with a fantastic shower. The location is great, close to the beach and tsilivi town, should you need it, via the beach. Some wonderful places to eat nearby like the Donkey Beach Bar and Ellinon Pelagos Tavern (which is amazing food). Karlien was very helpful before and throughout.

Karlien is a great host! The place (Theo Beach) was clean and simple, very basic but close to a beach and a few good restaurants. Balcony overlooking the water with chairs and a table. In my opinion it's good to rent a car on Zakynthos anyways, so its okay--and actually nice--that its not right in town. The town of Planos is a 20ish minute walk by streets or less if you go by way of the beach and get your feet wet. :)

Karlien was an amazing host. She was very responsive, picked me up from the port and even came early (as my ferry was early), she gave me a ride to the excursion she planned for everyone to attend if they wished, and she drove me to the airport! I'm so grateful for all that she did for me! The place is also amazing. It's pretty big especially for one person. There's also a table and vanity in the room which was nice. The kitchenette was perfect; it had anything you really needed. Typical bathroom. The balcony had a very nice view of the sea! And the beach was only 5 min away. I didn't rent a car but was still able to walk to the supermarket, restraunts, bars and stores. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

De vakantie was fantastisch,  de kamers waren prima, supermooi uitzicht! We hebben superveel gedaan en superveel gezien.  Ook altijd lekker gegeten!  Met Yorgos kwamen we direct goed overeen, samen ouzotjes gedronken en gebbq'ed, superfijn! De vakantiedagen voor dit jaar zijn helaas op, maar volgend jaar maken we zeker opnieuw een zomerreis...

Sono stata in Theo Beach ad inizio di giugno....è in perfetto stile greco, semplice, pulita e funzionale. Ci sono delle belle terrazze utilizzabili per far colazione, pranzare o cenare oppure per rilassarsi godendo di un curatissimo giardino e della vista sul mare. Una particolarità è data dal fatto che anche dal retro, per accedere agli appartamenti, si vede il mare...molto romantico...

Sono qui al Theo Beach New e tutto è davvero in ordine e fantastico da quando c'è stata la ristrutturazione, davvero un bel salto di qualità!!! Aria condizionata, doccia con le tende, rubinetti nuovi, giardino curato, docce esterne e parcheggio riservato..... Che dire della meravigliosa vista mare da tutte le camere? La spiaggia sotto casa è di sabbia fine con un mare fantastico e a piedi lungo la spiaggia si raggiunge il paese di Tsilivi! Ci sono davvero tutti gli ingredienti per una vacanza fantastica........

Io e il mio compagno siamo appena tornati da una settimana di vacanza al Theo Beach New. Ci avevano fornito le indicazioni per arrivare e siamo arrivati molto facilmente. Gli appartamenti sono molto belli , a soli 150 metri dal mare (molto bella anche la spiaggia) e sono veramente puliti. Abbiamo apprezzato molto anche il verde attorno dove ci siamo rilassati sulle amache messe a disposizione per gli ospiti. Sono in una posizione ideale per visitare l'isola e il paese di Tsilivi è solo a un km di distanza. Si può raggiungere anche dalla spiaggia. Sicuramente torneremo anche l'anno prossimo

Isola splendida in questo periodo dell'anno, esperienza bellissima condivisa con la mia fidanzata. Abbiamo conosciuto molti greci simpatici, cordiali e accoglienti. Il residence Theo Beach è piccolino ma in una posizione invidiabile, panorama magnifico e spiaggia sotto casa, in due passi si è a Tsilivi, paese molto animato, pieno di bar, ristoranti e taverne, tipici del posto. Gli appartamenti erano puliti e con tutto il necessario, davvero da consigliare, parcheggio privato, il wi-fi e un barbeque che abbiamo usato spesso comprando la carne che qui costa davvero poco ed è naturale. Insomma un posto davvero da consigliare!!!

Hoi Karlien, Wij zijn net weer thuis na 10 heerlijke dagen Griekenland. Het was een enerverende trip, heel veel gezien, was echt te gek! Wel redelijk moe, vanmorgen om 3.30 uur opgestaan. We hadden veel mooi weer, zelfs even 22C en heb toen ook een duik in zee genomen. Voor ons en de kinderen was Olympia toch wel het hoogtepunt, heel erg mooi al die historie. De hotels waren heel prima, en in Kalamata en Olympia gewoon echt heel goed. Lekker en goed eten ook in deze hotels. Yonda en ik vonden Nafplio ook heel erg leuk, hier en in de omgeving ervan hadden we misschien wel een dag meer tijd willen hebben. Athene moesten we natuurlijk ook gezien hebben, en dan vooral voor de Akropolis, maar verder toch niet zo ons ding, veel te druk (zie ook de negatieve ervaring even verderop). Leuk was in hotel Londen op einde van de trip dat ze vanmorgen om 4 uur al gewoon ontbijt hadden klaargezet (zoiets had ik nog nooit meegemAakt). Bijna alles ging helemaal goed, behalve dat Yonda in Athene een hondebeet opliep en van schrik haar enkel zwaar blesseerde (in ziekenhuis bleek dat het gelukkig niet gebroken was ...) en in Kalamata haar portemonnee is kwijtgeraakt. Maar dit alles heeft de pret gelukkig niet bedorven. Dit was voor ons een reisje om nooit te vergeten. Bedankt voor de organisatie!
